Thanks to our long-standing partnership with the Parish of Santo Stefano Protomartire and the cultural association Forum Clodii, our staff directly handle the booking, verification and coordination of availability, ensuring that the date of the ceremony coincides with that of the reception.

Santa Maria del Riposo: a small 16th-century masterpiece
Located on the road leading down from downtown Bracciano towards the lake, the church offers a magnificent view. Commissioned by the Orsini family in the second half of the 16th century, it was built on the site of a small chapel once known as Santa Maria del Sasso.
The simplicity of the building, with its central plan and two side chapels, provides a striking contrast to the sumptuous interior decorations. This little artistic gem is, in fact, richly decorated with frescoes from the Marian cycle, attributed to the school of the brothers Federico and Taddeo Zuccari. The left-hand chapel depicts the Massacre of the Innocents, an episode recounted in the Gospel according to Matthew, whilst the right-hand chapel features frescoes of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, commissioned by the local Pagnotta family. The main nave, following restoration work that removed the 19th-century altar, has revealed an image of the Virgin Mary nursing Baby Jesus, dating back to the 15th century.
